Is there a way to lock a drawing for editing only by a specific user? I usually have a problem with other people opening my drawings on different version of C3D and accidently saving them, or manipulating them.
Setting a password allows the drawing to be opened only with the password. If you forget the password you are screwed. See the Security options in the Help for options.
Thanks, i'd like people to open the drawings without having to set a password. I basically want to prevent anyone from saving changes. Similar to the read only option of the file properties, but set so only i can edit the files.
Place it in a shared folder with read only rights to other users.
