When creating a profile with right/left samples, the sampled profile does not show the gutter when crossing an intersection. If you do a quick profile of the area, it shows the gutters. See images below...

Same area with a quick profile...
Can you post up the drawing?
Which alignment? What station?
All of the areas where there is a crossing street. It's the centerline alignment sampling 30' right and left, but it's just a straight line when it crosses over a street.
I can confirm the results you are seeing and it appears to be a bug to me. Have you tried it in 2013?
I think it has something to do with the curves. If I create an alignment from just lines in the same area, it works just fine.
I tried drawing a simple polyline on the profile view using the SSE transparent command. It looked OK, so then I created an offset alignment, cut a surface profile on that and then superimposed it back onto the centerline profile view. That looked fine also, so it's a workaround for the moment at least.
Well isn't that special. Same problem here. Did you create a support request with Autodesk?
Wait a minute - was this drawing originally created in 2013 or 2014? Is it possible that the round trip from one version to another and back again is a problem?

No round trip issue. The customer uses 2013 and I did a WebEx with them and saw the issue. Had the customer send the drawing to me and same thing happened in 2014.
