Layout profile offset & dynamic values ???

Hi.

I have seen "offset" and "update mode"  for a layput profile.

What are these for ?

Thanks ?

Offset tells you how far left or right of centerline this profile is. A flowline profile might be offset 13.5' for example.

Why the Mode option is available for a layout profile, I don't know. It is only used by a surface profile.

Thanks,

The value (offset) is merely informative , isn't it ?

Thanks
