Large Boundary Survey "Looking for setup options or input"

OK, by my best calculation I have a boundary survey that is going to be approximately 80 sheet give or take and Im look for options on setup. I have looked at using SSM and also looked at setting up the boundary like an alignment and running plan only sheets using the Plan Production feature, which would make the matchlines for me (kind of nice there) and would proabably save me some time. I would appreciate any insite on this for everyone, as I personally have not used Plan Production in quite some time (probably 2008) and with something of this size and nature I really dont what to create the layouts in one drawing, and was honestly thinking of limiting it to around 10 layouts per drawing.

TIA

RL,

80 sheets? Are you doing a boundary of the entire United States of America?

No, just one piece of property with 5 - 6 roads/highways bisecting through it. It's big. I think set up is going to be the key to getting this site out the door. A little tought in the beginning could go a long way when in crunch time comes

Will the sheets cover the entire project area or just the boundary/roads?

If it coveres the entire project, check out the Map Book tools. I haven't read through it myself but it looks like Murph has a decent write up on Map Books HERE. And if Murph wrote it, it's bound to be good.

Just concerned with the perimeter and roads, hence the my thinking of using plan production tool. I just haven't been involved in engineering related production with C3D for some time now, but I'l take a look at Murph's post, I have blog as a favorite.

Thanks
