Does anyone know how to insert the point table into paper space rather than model space and creating a mview?
Also, is there a way to add the point style symbol to the table?
Thanks alot!

The only way to move a C3D point table into paper space is to explode it to a block and then it is no longer dynamic.
as for symbols in the point table, I do not think that is possible if you want to keep the point table dynamic. obviously once the table is exploded to a block some vanilla autocad edits can show the blocks used for the symbols.
Don't know of a way to do either without manual edits.
One way you can bring the table to paper is explode & changespace command but it wont be dynamic if things change.
We use the mview method.
Ok... that makes some sense. Is there maybe another method to do (above) using general styles and labels possibly?
all labels have the same problem, they can't exist in paper space as a C3D label.
I don't really find the model only labeling approach limiting in C3D in most cases.
It's just a different workflow to get used to if you're used to some other design softwares. They're all different.
But no, if your talking from Paper Space, there's no easy way to do any sort of automated labeling if that's what your asking by "Is there maybe another method to do (above) using general styles and labels possibly"?
If you use a Vanilla AutoCAD table, you can use blocks in the cells. I know it's not going to be dynamic. You could explode the Civil 3D point table and copy and paste the values in the AutoCAD table, then just assign the blocks to a column.
