Import XML, update profiles

When I import a updated XML file, my profiles go from dynamic to static, and do not update anymore, do I have to redraw my profiles each time i get an updated XML? this stinks, anyone have a fix?

If I'm interpreting your question correctly, I think you're misunderstanding
the dynamic relationship.

If you cut a surface profile, the dynamic link is to the surface. If you
were to export that profile data, the link would inherently be broke, making
dynamic updating impossible, therefore it is being set to static. There
would (could?) not be a fix for what you're describing. The functionality
is appropriate as is, IMO.

If you provide more details of exactly what situation you're dealing,
someone may be able to offer a better solution.
