Import Point with Long and Lat

Hello All,

I don't know what is wrong with my point format, but could not import. I have attached here the point file that I wanted to bring in.

Point number, Lat, Long, Pole tag, Dams_ No, Height, Yr Installed, QSEC.

I have created a new point format with Point number, lat, long and the last 5 colums i created with User-Defined (data type is String)

When I import the point, it said doesn't match with point format. Could you please take a look and let me know what i did wrong?

Thank you very much.

It looks like your latitude and longitude are in decimal degrees. If they are, you need to choose the column name "DECDEG Latitude/Longitude".

I have never tried using the "User defined" option. I've alway created a UDP, but this may have been overkill. I will look into this. Thanks
