Import DGN file

when I import DGN file to Civil 3D 2012, it is not going to rght place. is about 12' off, same DGN file import to Civil 3D 2009 works just fine.

what is wrong with Civil 3D 2012?

What units are you using? If you are using imperial units, it sounds like it could be a US feet vs. International Feet issue. Another thing to check would be your coordinate zone settings.

Jason,

When I setup a dwg with the correct settings and try to import a DGN using the "current drawing" setting, I receive an Internal Error message and the drawing is attached as an xref than can't be bound or inserted.  When I uncheck that setting, a new drawing is created but I have no idea what template it's selecting.  It has an International Foot setting and no coordinate system, which is NOT the one we use for QNEW.  Any ideas what file it's pulling from?  I can go to that file and set the correct settings.
