Ignore elevation

I setup my template a while ago and I forgot what settings need to be
changed to ignore elevation for points. I am working on 2d survey data and I
keep getting the hypotenuse instead of the straight line distance.

I dont think that was it. I thought I had to go into my point settings and
choose ignore elevation or something to that effect.

It is easier to this with John's method.
