This is my first time to draw a communication box in 3D. Can anyone point me to the right direction? Where should I start? Thanks in advance for your help.
Civil 3D is more suited for modeling terrains. It sounds like you are wanting to draw generic 3D surfaces and solids. For that you will need to use Autocad's 3D drawing tools. You can get help with those tools in the Autocad forums and in the Autocad Help system included with Civil 3D.
