How to convert the proposed profile line to surafce

I would like to know how to convert the proposed profile line (FGL - Finished Ground Level) to surafce.

In my drawing  I had EGL (Existing ground suraface) & Road corridor surafce.

On my ground profile I wanted to show my pipe network structures cover touch to the proposed profile line (FGL - Finished Ground level). Could you please explain.

thanks,

Najeeb

I am afraid I don't clearly understand your request.

Perhaps you can re-phrase "show my pipe network structures cover touch to the proposed profile line ..."

Do you mean you want your pipe network structures' rim elevations to be referenced to a finished ground surface, but that all you have to start with is a finished ground profile?

Najeeb,

Do you have a corridor surface created? (Attachement #1)

Have you linked your structures to a surface? (Attachement #2)

Also, I like to create a new blank Finished Surface and paste my corridor surface into it.  (Attachement #3)  That allows me to link all strucures/pipes to one surface in the event I have more than one corridor or decide to delete a corridor and create a new one.

I can go into more detail if you need me to.

Najeeb,

I almost forgot to mention that once linked to a surface you can view the maximum and minimum cover over your pipes.

Was that what you required?

Yes,   I wanted to create pipe network structures rim elevations to be referenced to a finished ground surface. (attachment 01), For that I have to select which suraface from list ? (surafce list attachment 02).

If I select the road corridor surface, some structures are not shown in profile, (I think in plan the location of structures are away from road corridor surface).

So how can I create the finished ground surface?, normally I used to create proposed surface in profile using profile creation tools (which we say as a finished ground level - attachment 03), Is it possible to convert that in to finished ground surfae? (same like Exisitng surface & road corridor surface)

Attached some files

Thank you

Thanks Avera,

This was the new idea for me (create the blank surface and paste corridor surface in to it), can please you go for detail

Also I have few doubts

1. Is it possible to hide the corridor surface in plan view?

2. The location of some structures in network are away from the road corridor area and it is not shown in profile view (Do I need to adjust the assembly sizes or any other method)

3. I have changed some rules in structure , I have to select each structures to apply rule. I have more than 30 structures in network, Is it possible to apply rule in one time ?

regards, najeeb.
