How to convert elevation text to points? Civil 3D 2009

Hi

I've got an old survey in which there is only spot elevation text. I have moved the text to its corresponding elevation using "Surface\utilities\move text to elevation".

Great so far.

Now how do I create points from these text entities?

Thanks

John

If you need a surface you can add the test strings. You will find the option
when adding Drawing Data to your surface definition.

If you need points I think Terry has a lisp program to do this.

Got it.

I see its under the surface in the prospector. Under Drawing Objects you can add text, lines whatever.

Thanks again

Hi there,
You can also use the Map Query command to get things like that done.
I posted this yesterday and it will be a follow up tomorrow, presenting how to create the COGO Points from a Report
