Have created a 3-dimensional model of a lock and dam system by simply assiging elevations to linework. However, I need to now export this linework in a file format that Flow-3D can recognize. I understand one of the file formats it accepts is .stl files. Can anyone provide some insight as to the steps required to convert this simple 3D linework into an stl file?
Thanks!

There is an STLOut command. But it only works on Solids. So you will need to convert your model to solids before you export them. Look for STL Or STLOUT in Help.

You can't "convert". About the best you can do is use the 3D lines as a base to start creating the solids. If you're lucky and the base elevation of your linework is on one plane, you can start be joining then in to 2D polylines and use the Loft command. You may need to draw boxes, wedges, cones, etc and use the Union, Subtract and Intersect commands - see Create Composite Objects in help.
If you're not familiar with creating solids. There should be an AutoCAD tutorial on line
There are some good hints in help: Create 3D Solids and Surfaces
