How do I... Set a field from sheet set = -1 of my current page

Hey all,

I am making a custom sheet set for my 100+ page Project and I was looking for some basic help.

The Question:

How do I set up an insertable field on a sheet that will post a value the is equalt to either a page higher or a page lower (i need both).

Where I think to go:

I open my sheet set -> Propoerties -> Edit custom Properties" -> Add ...

I name the style "Sheet -1" (will also do +1)

It the asks for a default value, and I want the default value to be set to -1 of the current page.  HOw do I accomplish this?  It will literally save me tons of mundane work.

Thank you and I will supply additional information / pictures if needed.

From my understanding, there is no available field in the Sheet Set Manager that would allow for arithmetic based on another field.

Copy to formula AutoCAD uses to denote SheetNumber: %<\AcSm Sheet.Number>%

Now, when you create the new field, tell it you're inserting a formula. In the formula, paste the copied code for SheetNumber. It will evalualte to the current sheet number. Put a -1 after it and press evaluate. It will update to show the sheet number minus one.

Best regards,

Tim

I guess there is an option. However, if your sheet numbers assigned within the Sheet Set Manager contain more than numbers, the math will not evaluate.
