I have a surface that I created by joining to surfaces, and now I want to reduce my boundary, how can I edit it?

If you have a polyline border of surface just grip edit it as needed and rebuild surface.

If you don't have a polyline of surface border to edit click on surface and choose "Extract Objects" from Surface Tools panel on Tin Surface contextual ribbon, select "border", grip edit the resulting polyline boundary>rebuild surface.

Did you miss a step? I extracted the 3D polyline and grip edited it, but my surface boundary will not change.
