Hiding part of an alignment

So here is an interesting one;

I have a user who has an alignment from 0+00 to around 85+00. I t is used for a lot of designs and such so it needs to stay. The user however has a plan that he only wants to display 44+00 to 85+00. Other than exploding it, is there a way to not display the alignement before a certain station?

there is a masking tab in the alignment properties window.  simply select your region on plan.  there doesn't appear to be any impact to the profile from this masking for me.

good luck!
