I use Autodesk Architecture and Civil 3D. I usually print projects sheets that contain both civil and architecture form Architecture, but occassionly print sheet sets through civil 3d.
Recently, I have had a problem with one hatch pattern available to Architecture but not civil 3d not printing properly through c3d. I added a support file search path to my c3d to point to location of architectural hatches, but the problem did not go away.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
thanks!

Can you describe what the problem is? "not printing properly" is vague.
My bad...going to fast. The hatch pattern shows up solid. The same file opening in Architecture has no problem.
Further clarification needed. Does it appear solid in ACAD or only when you plot? Is it possible there is some kind of mask that is obscurring it?
Perhaps this thread is related: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/AutoCAD-2010-2011-2012-DWG/hatch-turns-solid-when-dwg-opened-in-Autoca...
the hatch patter shows up solid in both Civil 3D and in Plotting. But the very same drawing file opens up fine in Architecture.
You're awesome. The HPMAXLINES sysvar to 10,000,000 from 1,000,000 seemed to do the trick. Thanks, Neil!!!
