Hey Drew;
I agree with you in principle, but in turn, a little more than a modest
"Thank you" should be in order.
Such as a recommendation for a Work-Around, or at least something that
indicates a portion of the Development Team is working on the problem, and
will return with a W-A within a certain time frame.
That time frame might require adjustment to account for scheduling issues, I
think we all would understand.
Otherwise you might contribute to the type of comments heard from Mia
recently.
Just a thought.

Hi Matt:
Yes, I spent an afternoon last week working with the grading, and crashed
several times. It is frustrating.
But I think the only way to help Autodesk help us is to do what you did.
Give them specific examples.

I'm having nothing but trouble with grading. Seemingly simple operations
are causing the application to stop responding. Is anyone else as
frusterated with grading as I' am?
I've attached an example dwg with a simple feature line. There are many
more, but I'll attach just one. I'm trying to create a back of curb line
from a surveyed gutter line. I'd like to basically offset the gutter line
0.15m to one side with a difference in elevation of 0.15m. I did this all
the time in Land using the 3
d polyline tools. Ultimately I'm going to add
this feature line as a breakline into a surface.
I have created a criteria set called "USL" Within it I have a criteria
called "Curb". It's set up to grade to a relative distance 0.15m away at a
distance of 0.15m. Can someone please try this? It seems like a very simple
thing to do, but my software just locks up.
Thanks,
Matt Kolberg
