Geotechnical Module v1 update now available!

We are pleased to announce the release of Geotechnical Module v1 for both Civil 3D 2013 and Infrastructure Design Suite 2014.

These are now available for download on Subscription Center along with release notes. Please uninstall any previous version of the Geotechnical Module prior to installing Geotechnical Module v1.

Thank you!

Geotechnical Module v1 for both Civil 3D 2013 and Infrastructure Design Suite 2014

Message 4 of 17

My apologies for not clarifying the specific locations in my initial email.

The 2014 version of Geotechnical Module is avaialable to Infrastructure Design Suite Premium and Ultimate Customers on Subscription Center. Choose to "View all available Product Enhancements" and you will see the Geotechnical Module listed. Once you click on that link, you will see the download for v1.

The 2013 version of Geotechncial Module is avaialable to Civil 3D 2013 Customers on Subscription Center. Choose "Productivity Tools for AutoCAD Civil 3D 2013" and you will see the Geotechnical Module listed on that page with the download links.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

The Geotechnial Module is no longer working....the popup say it has been succesfully loaded but when the import button is clicked...

Command: KYN_ImportAGS Unknown command "KYN_IMPORTAGS".  Press F1 for help.

The only change (apart from standard Windows updates) is that I have installed the CodeExecutionVulnerability Hotfix .

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Geotech module but it still doesn't work

Any suggestions?

Just uninstalled the module

Rebooted

Deleted the getechnicalmodule.bundle folder in the applicationplugin folder

Reinstalled the module

Still doesn’t work..

Am getting desperate now - it actually worked on Wednesday after installing the CodeExecutionVulnerability Hotfix but failed to work on Friday and hasn't since...

I am getting increasingly frustrated by this Geotechnical module; I don't get this kind of hassle when using Mapworks Geotechnical module....

Hurrah - just had a long support call to try and sort out this geotechnical module and it is working again

Not sure why it wasn't working but the solution was to uninstall the module and delete the folder C:\ProgramData\Keynetix\AutodeskGeotechnicalModule, reinstalled and worked just fine

Kudos to GaryMorin8439 @ Keynetix for the help

Thanks for this post!

I just wanted folks to know that there is no need to uninstall and reinstall the module. Simply Deleting the C:\ProgramData\Keynetix\AutodeskGeotechnicalModule folder will allow the module to work. Civil 3D will remake this folder upon restart of the module.

Hi There is a need to uninstall the application. I think following are the steps which I recommend for Geotechncial Module install issues with Unknown Command Errors.

  1. Uninstall 2013, 2014, 2015 Geotechnical (Side by Side gives some trouble)
  2. Download Geotechncial V1 from Subs (For 2014) if you have not already (Wasn't a problem for me since I was using V1)
  3. Delete folder C:\ProgramData\Keynetix
  4. Install ONLY 2014 at the moment since it is not released yet.
  5. Don’t forget to REBOOT Smiley Happy
  6. Start Civil 3D 2014.
  7. Save the Drawing before Cicking IMPORT
  8. USE Geotechncial comfortably. Smiley Very Happy

Cheers..

Can you look in the About Box and let me know exactly which version you are currently using?

Thanks!

Hi Jessica

The Geotechnics version is 1.16.0.2.

The command now works, but I have lost the ribbon. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still no ribbon. Where do I find the partial cuix to load?

Cheers
