Font style shows different style than its setting (no override)

example:  elevation label is 123 and the style setting in simplex, it used to show all in simplex now one of the number is in arial, any idea folks?

i already tried to create a dummy text style with all the correct setting and type a test word and voila - it shows one of the letter in a different font!

please help!

thanks!

Just curious if you create a new label style, does the same thing occur.

unfortunately, yes, that was what bothers me because the setting are all correct and somehow selecting the simplex8.shx instead of the typical simplex.shx address the problem but I would like to understand why it behaves that way...so if anybody knows some valid explanation just let me know, thanks!
