Does anyone know a quick way to find a layer within a style. I have been changing layers in our Code Sets and I can't seem to purge out a specific layer. I'd rather not spend hours going through every single code again.
Thanks,

You should have the Purge Styles command in 2012. It is found in the manage panel of the ribbon.
You may also find useful tools for managing styles in SincPac (http://www.quuxsoft.com), a robust set of custom tools for Civil 3D.
I'm afraid I missed a key part of your post. You don't want to purge the styles, just the layer used in a style. I don't know of any way to find where the layer is used, but a workaround is to merge the unwanted layer(s) to a layer you want to keep or to layer zero. Then you can purge the unwanted layer(s).
Thank you! I will look into it. I'm actually trying to convert a assembly to new layers that were created and i can't find one of the layers that i can't purge.
I figured you'd have a tool for that but I didn't know for sure.
