File in network deployment for 2012

I'm having trouble installing a  Hotfix for C3D 2012. The error I'm getting is that it can't find the file AeccCascade.cab. Autodesk Support says this is because the path to my deployment is broken and I need to reinstall C3D. However it looks to me that the path is OK. I've checked the registry and did a Repair with no problem.

Can anyone that has a Civil 3D 2012 network deployment find that file there?

Hey Allen. If this is a net install I think you may need to confirm the deployment ini file has the correct paths.

See the attachment for the location of this file. I also opened up the ini file to show you where to look for the paths. There should be two. I highlighted the first one. 3 lines down is the second. Confirm that these are the only erroneous paths in the ini.

I also started a reinstall from the shortcut to the deployment. I canceled it as soon as I was sure it was running.

Thank for the reply.

I have a network deployment. I don't have that file.  That said, I did not install that hotfix as I don't use network licensing.

Hi Lisa. You should have an ini file for the admin image install. The name of that ini file is the deployment name we provide when creating the deployment. Sorry for the confusion. 😮

Yep, I know that.  I create a deployment on my local drive then modify the ini file to the path on the network (since the deployment creation won't allow for network paths for the image creation).  What I got from the OP is that perhaps the issue stems from the fact that he uses a License manager.  I don't, we have standalone licenses.

Maybe I missed something.

You're not missing anything Lisa. Autodesk is stumped too!
