Figure Styles Multi Lines

Good morning,

I am using AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011.  I am wondering if there is a way to assign an mline to a figure style in the Figure Prefix Database.  Ultimately I am trying to create storm drains that have a width automatically (ex. 12" SD would come in at 12").  Right now I have a single center line that comes in and I manually offset the line to create a width or I place an mline over the center line.  It seems there ought to be an easier way.  Am I on the right track or is there another way?

Thanks for any help!

One way might be, when coding in the field, use a horizontal offset. That will draw your parallel figure.

You could also add this manually to the data file (ASCII file) and then re-import.

Code the centerline like B 12 SD H.5 H-.5 maybe...

Well you could convert your Survey Figure to a Pipe Network, basically setting styles just like the Engineering side does.

Personally I have always been a fan of Linetypes with Text for these situations on the the Survey side.
