Featureline adjacent elevation by reference

I'm considering a post to the wishes forum but I want to make sure I'm not
missing something first.

When using the Featureline Elevation by Reference tool, I see no option to
apply the elevations to a portion of the target featureline, so if I have a
contiguous feature line around a parking lot I cannot set portions of it
from one featureline/centerline and other portions by another
featureline/centerline. Is this the case? Without this option are we left
breaking up the feature line or each vertex one at a time or perhaps
resorting to creating drape surfaces to set a range of vertices?

C3D 2010.

It is a vertex editing tool that is very handy when graphically editing
PIs of featurelines in plan.

Using a temporary grading object to assign mass featureline PIs is also
handy.

Hi Matt,

I'll conclude that the tool cannot apply elevations to a select range of
vertices.

Thanks

This?

or this?

or this?
u

It's either one vertex or all.

There are tools that apply within a featureline between verticies like
set grade slope between points.

Have a look at my post in the wishes forum. It might make more sense.
