Feature Lines on Different Layers

I have a bunch of feature lines defining some building footprints and what not. They are on different layers for each possible design I am considering. Whenever I freeze any of the feature lines, they all turn off, eventhough they are on different layers? What is the problem?

My guess is one of the layers you are freezing is also used in the feature line style.

To add to Brian's post, it would probably be best if you did not use styles for your feature lines. Simply rely on layers so this doesn't happen. That or have layer 0 set within the styles you're using.

Or it could be the Object Layer culprit.

Which IMO is one thing I would like to see done away with. Just adds yet another location to assign a layer to an object.
