Fatal error: unhandled Access violation writing 0x0000 exception at 0h W/HATCH

Hi there,

I'm using Civil 3d 2012 since a while and have encountered this FATAL ERROR since yesterday.

When i press the HATCH icon or tap in the HATCH command the software seems to start up the command but gives me a FATAL ERROR message : "Fatal error: unhandled Access violation writing 0x0000 exception at 0h"

I tought it was maybe my drawing and did a recover + audit + purge and the problem seems to remain.

I've even restart a drawing from a template and it does the same thing.

I tought it was maybe the profiles and CUI file so i put default METRIC one and does the same thing.

I checked out on google a yesterday and today but i only came across this discussion :

The thing is that i don't seem to have the USB display driver that they're talking about.

Anyone already had this problem ?
Someone familior with this issue ?
Solution, ideas ? (I'm out of ideas in my "troubleshooting")

Just made a CER report "Thank you for sending your error report CER_87943157 to Autodesk."

In case someone from Autodesk comes accross my thread.
Did a few yesterday to while testing.

Hi there,

I've redone a complete Windows Profile (deleted my old Users account and redone a new one) seems to fix the problem i can do hatching with no problem now.

There was some glitch or something in my user files.

Gotta recostumize everything tough.

Good luck for the future persons who has this problem.
