FATAL ERROR When creating Survey Database

When I try to create a survey database I get FATAL ERROR: Unhandled e0434352h Exception at fe139e5dh.

I have repairing both AutoCAD and .Net 4, I also did a regedit on the CommunicationCenter.

Does anyone have some answeres for this one?

Have you tried a new working folder just as a test, maybe even a local folder like C:\Temp?

I'm out of suggestions...

Unless someone else comes along with something, I would suggest opening a support ticket with Autodesk through your subscription account.

Hi this is gopal,

FATAL ERROR is very typical problem.

Dont worry man. you please increase the RAM capacity of your computer.

In this case, the OP has a repeatable issue when creating a survey database. Increasing the RAM will not help.

In this perticular cases FATAL ERROR , the system configuration it means
the capacity of RAM is most importent.

If the survey database contains " > 10MB " capacity, the system RAM has 1GB
and the AUTOCAD version is higher than the 2006, defnitly the FATAL ERROR
will be comes.

what type of version you are using and whats ur system
configuration..........???

please tel me...????

Thanking you sir,

with reagrds

Has creating a Survey Database worked on your system in the past and it just recently began causing a crash?

Is this problem specific to a drawing or a computer?

As a test, if you start a new drawing with one of the OOTB unedited Civil 3d dwt's can you successfully create a Survey Database and import the survey without crashing? (Using the OOTB C3d user profile ie: <<C3D_Imperial>>)

Windows 7 location,   (AppData) is a hidden folder by default in Win explorer folder & search options.

C:\Users\brubble\AppData\Local\Autodesk\C3D 2012\enu\Template\

_AutoCAD Civil 3D (Imperial) NCS.dwt

_AutoCAD Civil 3D (Metric) NCS.dwt

Glad you got it fixed, w/o throwing more hardware at it.

I had a similar problem a couple months ago when I upgraded all our workstations to Infra Design Suite 2014 and imported our profile from C3D 2013.  Every workstaiton in the office generated fatal error when trying to create a new survey database.  I went to the "stock out of the box" C3D 2014 Imperial profile and recreated our office wide profile from scratch which cured our problem.  This leads me to belive it was something in our file search paths, though I can not be sure of that.
