Extract Featureline from corridor

Is it possible to extract a featureline from a corridor for a specific range of stations?

Thanks,

Eric

I don't believe that is possible to do.

Adjust the station ranges to include only the range you want, rebuild the corridor, extract feature lines and then put the range back.

Either adjust the ranges in your corridor as the previous poster recommends, or extract it and trim/break to the stations you need. Either way, you can't specify the ranges when extracting the feature line as part of the extraction command.

Thank you all,

It can be done but without keeping the automatic link to the corridor.

Sorry,
I´m just confirming that can be done using the methods explained in the your and Civil3DReminder posts.

Did I miss the part where you wanted to keep the automatic link in the first post?

To keep the link create an Assembly with no subassmblies. Add a small region (0.01') in the corridor at the begining and end of the station range you want the feature line linked to using the empty assembly. Then extract the feature line from the segregated region and it will only use the segregated region for the feature line link.

Thanks,

I added the empty regions before and after the region of interest but I don´t know what I ´m doing wrong, when I rebuild the corridor and see all the regions the featureline get recreated to all the other regions before and after the empty regions.

Eric
