Expose Parcel Area as a Field

For SP1, can we please add the Parcel Objects' Area property to the
available fields? We currently can use the name or description, but not
the area. If you add the area, you can then create a live drainage area
table based on fixed values and the math functions of 2006.

Very useful, and hopefully very easy! Thanks.

I have been searching everywhere for this exact topic.  So 10 years later.. is this possible?  I want to be able to do exactly what he described but can not find anything anywhere.  You used to be able to get the acreage from the description field from what I read but it is not in Civil3D 2014 anywhere that I can find.  Anyone have any suggestions?

I have a table / spreadsheet and want to dynamically link to the parcel area data (via a field - or any other method, though I don't know any other than field).  I can see the area and perimeter in the Properties Flyout Tab, I can create a style that has the data I need, and I can create a parcel table with the appropriate data I need, but I can not find a way to link to / code to it while in a seperate table to do rational method calculations.  The only options I have when I try access the data via a field is (color, description, layer, linetype, linetypescale, lineweight, name, object name, plot style, show tooltips, and true color).  Any help is greatly appreciated.

No Civil3d object data is available to use in autocad tables and fields. You can write expressions in the the label style to do calc on the area

there is a lisp out there that allows you explode a c3d table and convert to acad table which you can manipulate more freely

Some C3D data is available in fields. Like subassembly name and description... but not parcel area... hmm.

A number of ideas for labels, fields and tables were posted and accepted by Dave Simone. These are combined into a single Portfolio Feature (PF2426).

One of the ideas is here.

Thank you all for all the comments, at least now I know what I have to deal with for this particular release.  Hopefully they add it in a future release.
