Exporting SHP files....

When I try to export a shape file (SHP) from Civil 3D, I get to the dialog box on the selection tab and the area that I'm used to seeing that says "Object Type" where you select either Point, Line, Polygon or Text is missing. Has anyone else seen this problem? I can't export the shape files without this option.

Murph,

I recently installed a new hard drive and now have the same issue mmcmanus originally posted.

Unfortunately, when I follow both of your links I get the 404. Could you please help me out?

Thanks

The link is still working for me.

If you can't open them than your IT may of blocked them or something.

Murph,

I am still not able to click on the two links you posted as a response to mmcmanus's original post. However, I did a search over on the Map 3D group and found a solution from another post you had replied to. I modified the mapexport.ini file as you suggested there and I am back in business.

Thank you
