When I build a surface from 3D lines and AutoCAD points and blocks with elevation and export the whole surface in XML is it necessary to reimport the points and blocks in another drawing?
You can import the surface without any points or blocks. XML will store the information necessary to re-create the surface.
If you are exporting multiple surfaces to XML you may want to export each surface seperately. This way if sharing with outside vendors the surfaces can be brought in one at a time.
