Error Messages: Resources for troubleshooting

Is there a resource dedicated to troubleshooting the cause of error messages? I have received several error messages while creating sheets, and am having difficulty troubleshooting their causes. It seems like a resource that allows a user to query the error message and get help troubleshooting the cause might be standard with well documented software. If there is no such dedicated resource, maybe someone can help me with the following two messages (delivered by C3D via the Event Viewer):

1)
Profile View viewport misfit detected: sheet #sheet name here#

2)
Unable to create multiple profile views

I've gotta figure this error out, because I am completely stuck for the moment. The following error is issued when I create sheets using the createsheets command:

Type: Error
Date: 5/28/2010
Time: 11:18:54 AM
Source: Create Sheets
User: Acer
Description: Unable to create multiple profile views

When the sheet files are created, I receive an error is issued during save that prompts me to run recover on the files. Recover produces the following output:

######## begin recovery log ########

I am creating plan and profile sheets from a group of two view frames along an alignment. I had created profiles from this alignment before without receiving this error. I am not sure what changed, but now I receive this error. It does not matter if I choose to include the sheets in the current drawing, or another dwg file. I also does not matter if I choose a pre-configured profile view or define one with the wizard. I tested the createsheets process after receiving this error by following the online tutorials available at the AutoDesk website, and the process worked fine. I have attempted to create sheets with another version of the file that I am using, and received the same error, so I don't think that there is a setting in the file itself that is problematic. I also tested with the standard Imperial Plan and Profile template issued with the software, and the error occurred with this template, too. Please let me know if you need more information. Thank you.
