Error Message

I'm attempting to cut a existing profile on a survey that was provided by a
local surveyor. I have successfully created an alignement and built a
surface but when I go to create the profile I receive the following message:
ARXLOAD failed. Does anyone know what is happening or why I'm not able to
cut the profile?

Thanks in advance.

Try shutting down Civil 3D and starting a new session. Open the tutorial file for profiles and running through the same steps with that data. If you get the same error I would suspect your installation is messed up. If it works, then try it with your data again.

Thanks for your input. I've run profiles in the past so I think I can rule
out an installation error.

Civil 3D should be loading the required ARX's and DBX's at start up. The
fact that you are able to create the alignment indicates that the correct
modules have loaded. If you key in ARX, ?, you can see what modules have
loaded. Aeccland30.dbx and AeccUiland30.arx are the key modules which you
should see in the list. Please create a txt file which has the list of
modules which have loaded and we can verify what has loaded. Just to
confirm, are you seeing this error in Civil 3D or LDT?

Thanks,
