Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question, but I'm looking for a source where I can purchase maps that i can edit in AutoCAD. We do a lot of work that requires Google Maps-like renderings and would liek to save the time we currently spend creating these maps manually.
Thanks in advance!
Well, I think you can find free geographic stuff by your official government website: where are you writing from, sir?
I've found some maps from the census bureau but that's more for state and county lines. I'm looking for something that I can use to accurately replicate Google or map quest type maps.
Have you tried http://www.webgis.com/index.html or your state GIS stores. Most maps are in a format other than dwg but can be imported with Civil3D/Map3D.
