Edit Proposed Contours

I am using C3D 2010. I have a proposed surface is it possible to edit that surface by griping the proposed contours and adjusting them to the location I want with out having to edit the tin surface (adding points, swapping lines. etc.). I have used the Extract Objects then made my edits and added that back into my surface but I was just looking to see if any better practices are available.

Contours are merely a representation of the surface, so your approach is
the best for making updates on such a granular level. I _would_ suggest
you trim the extracted contours to the area of concern that that you are
not adding extra data further out along a contour where it perhaps is
not needed.

I agree with James. The whole contour is not necessary in most cases to make a change to the surface.

skip the extract step and just sketch in the modified portion of the contour and add that polyline into the surface.
