Dynamic Blocks Missing in 2013

Has anyone else noticed that the Dynamic Blocks in the Annotation Tool Pallete are missing?  Let me rephrase that, in the Tool pallete they show up, but the dwg's that they reference are missing.  I have 4 users that are currently testing Civil 3D 2013 and all of them are missing the files.

I'm sure I could copy them from 2012, but still.

Anyone else?

Hi,

you are right, a little 😉

The palette is setup to search the blocks in this directory:

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD Civil 3D 2013\Sample\Dynamic Blocks\

But in my German version of Civil3D they are stored at this position:

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD Civil 3D 2013\Sample\de-DE\Dynamic Blocks\

For an english version the orange part should be named "en-US".

So you could either modify the tool-palette items or copy the sample-dwg's to one folder upwards.

You're absolutely right, I didn't even think to look there.

Thanks!

In lieu of copying and pasting the file folder, you can add the file path into the "Support File Search Path".
