Finished designing my basin in LDD, I go to save, and I get this:
"Lake-Surf.dwg" has a command in progress.
Hit enter to cancel or [Retry]:"
I do not have any commands running, and REALLY need to save all this work.
Help! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Close the drawing. When asked to save the drawing say YES. See http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=11705681&linkID=9240617

This is a continuing issue that I have while working in LDD 2009. I use the orbit command frequently while creating terrain models and I am continually having to saveas, close and reopen. This makes for very inefficient production, is there an actual bug fix for this?
Thanks,

turn on your autosaves, set it to 1 min, then, go rename the .sv$ to .dwg and open that drawing it works every time....
the kernel gets hung up on a command, typically after undo and then your stuck even though no command appears to be in progress so just let the autosave run, then rename the extension, bam your all set.
you can see the autosave take place in the command prompt fyi.
