Hi all, there's a certain drawing that right now I cannot open. However when I rename it I am then able to open it. A few days ago I did not have this problem. Any suggestions?
Does the drawing have any x-refs? Have you tried AUDIT/PURGE? Opening file with RECOVER?
Audit/purged/recovered all xrefs and they open fine. The drawing actually opens on another workstation. When we saved that drawing on the other workstation with a different file name it was then able to open on my workstation. I suspect there is some file or setting or data reference issue.
Have you cleared out the TEMP folder recently?
Win 7 default location is: C:\Users\User name\AppData\Local\Temp\
Close c3d first & delete all it will allow you to delete.
After clearing the temp file I still can't open the drawing. The drawing loads up to a point where I can see the full paper space layout but then freezes right after.
Have you done a "repair of you installation"? That is normally a first reaction to something like this.
If need info, do a quick Google CIVIL 3D REPAIR OF INSTALLATION.
