Draping "multiple" images

I have multiple aerials that cover my surface however the
Surfaces>Utilities>Drape_Image will only let me select one image at a time.
I have RD 2008 and could merge all my aerials I suppose but that would make
the drawing quite resource intensive.

The other option - You could break the surface into 2 at the limits of the abutting aerials and drape on both individually.
