All,

I notice this little mark in the background sometimes, not sure what it is. Note there is an aerial in the background, i am curious about the circle with spokes.

Is it the GeoMarker, controlled by the GEOMARKERVISIBILITY variable?

Thank you for the reply. Do you know what it is actually marking, or does it have a use i am not aware of, or should i just shut it off?

That marker shows up when you set a CRS (e.g. thru _ADESETCRDSYS).

You can kill it, by setting the variable = 0

I work mainly in the design phase of projects and keep it turned off. Someone who works more with geographic positioning could give you more insight to the use of it.

This marker is used as a way of positioning your project on Earth. If you are designing widgets, you are not likely to use this feature. If you are designing highways, you will.
