I posted this on behalf of Jon who has a problem with some Point
manipulation code being interfered with by Point Names.
I expect I needed to more specific, but am unclear on what the actual
problem is. Perhaps Jon will read this and clarify.

I am assuming that you are being prompted for point names and you don't want
to be. Go to the Settings tab of Prospector and right click on the Point
node. Select the "Edit Feature Settings..." command. In the dialog expand
the "Point Identity" node and set "Force Names" to False.
