Different Surfaces...Different Contour Label styles???

I am having difficulty applying contour label styles to two separate surfaces in C3D 2007. I cant find in my surface style edit dialogue where I can apply a certain contour label style to an individual surface style. This is starting to frustrate me as i am trying to print two different surfaces, but I do not want them to use the same contour label style.
Please help!

Click on one of the surfaces, r/c and edit it there. do them one at a time.
When you r/c on the surface, you should pick the 'Surface Properties'
option. In that, the first tab (Information) is where you'll find it. You
can also get to this point by expanding your surfaces in your prospector,
r/c and edit.

Rick,
All I see in the information area is the "surface style" selection and the "render material style" selection - nothing about adding a contour label style to the surface style. I am currently using two different surface styles and want each of them to use different contour label styles. For some reason I cannot find an option to apply anything other than the "default" contour label style to a surface.
Thanks.
Byron.

OHHHHHHH - Go to your Settings toolspace and select surface-Label
Styles-contour. this is where you add/change your contour labels.I have to
major styles (Existing and Proposed). and each of those have child styles
(Major and Minor). That way I can control the look and feel of each. Is THIS
what you're after??

AFAICT, you cannot change the style once the labels are created. You can,
however, set the style prior to creating them.

Surfaces menu, Labels, Contour Label Line Properties, select the contour label lines and a box will pop up where you can select the label styles.

You'd think that the styles would be part of the surface style but they're not. They're a style attached to the label lines.

That did it! Thanks alot guys. I was almost bald from pulling out my hair on this one. I am finding that "asumming" in C3D is a bad thing. I would have bet the farm that the contour label styles would have to be applied from within the surface style editor!
Thanks again.

One thing good about the way it's implemented is it's easy to have multiple
label styles on the same surface, say majors only in steep areas but major &
minor in the flatter areas.
