Did autodesk spam anyone else with matainance update emails?

I just checked my e-mail and I just got 12 or 13 Maintenance Update Available for Autodesk® Civil 3D® 2007 mails from Autodesk. These were in response to some of the error reports I had sent in and said I didn't have the latest update. I was pretty exited, thought there was a new service pack. But when I checked, it was for SP3... which I am already running...

This happen to anyone else?

It's not spam, it's an automated system telling you they fixed whatever was
in your original CER. A bit odd that it didn't catch the same e-mail being
dumped into 30 times, but I've not seen it yet, and I had hundreds of CERs
prior to SP3.

yes but I have had sp3 since it came out in november or december or whatever it was and I got a single one of them then. I just think its wierd that I've gotten probably close to 40 of them in the last 2 hrs for a SP that I've had installed for 3 or 4 months...

I was more dissapointed after being excited for a new SP.... does that mean I've been spending too much time in C3D?

One user can also get CER's from many machines. Is someone in your company
using a machine that you use to use? Your email address may be left in the
dialog that gets sent to Autodesk after a crash. Someone could also be using
your email address when they crash too.

I thought about that too and went and checked. All of our machines are up to date and no one has my email address set. Its up to about 60 now... so I think I am just getting one for everything I've sent in the last while.

It's payback for all of those CER's that we sent to them. At least they didn't vent on me like I did to them a few times.

I'm just thinking about how many hundred I must have sent in over the last 6 months.... I'm hoping I'm not going to get one for all of them...

Thanks for the update. I'm not sure why those are hitting your inbox now, we
did send out the message back when we did the SP, but I don't think we
requested a second push.
