Default to last elevation when creating points

I am trying to figure out what the setting might be so that when creating points it will default to the last elevation entered. It defaults to the last description entered but it always comes up with <.> for the elevation.

Well... If you're creating a lot of points at the same elevation you could set the point settings like this:

Otherwise, what I sometimes do is, you can enter the elevation once; highlight it, rt-click and copy then each time it prompts for the elevation use Crtv-V to paste the elevation. You can also create a temporary flat surface and get the elevations from there.
