Default Parcel Layers

Anyone know where I have to go to to change the default Parcel and Parcel Segment layers?  Been tearing my hair out trying to find it, with no luck.  We are not on NCS layering.

Thanks,

as i remember it, there are 2 places.

In the Masterview Drawing Settings

the Parcel Commands "creat parcel from ..."

There may be one other, but I can't remember.  I don't have access to

Civil 3d at home.

This took me some machinations to change. Confusingly, it is not in the Toolspace area for parcels as mentioned above (see below, some settings are). To change the default layer for new parcels, follow the following procedure.

Toolspace > Settings > *right click* on [File Name] > *select* Drawing Settings > Object Layers > Parcel Layer.

However, related is the correct procedure for changing default label styles for new parcels, which importantly will influence the formation of tables.

Toolspace > Settings > [File] > Parcel > Commands > CreateParcelfromObjects* > Default Styles

*You can also modify other commands such as CreateParcelByLayout.
