Is it just me or does it seem to take a long time to validate data
shortcuts. I think I read somewhere in this newgroup that you could turn off
the automatic validation of the data shortcuts. If this is so can some tell
me where you would do this and why. It doesn't make much sense to do it if
you open a drawing that has data shortcuts and you don't validate them
unless I am misinterpeting what validate means. Is is just checking to make
sure they existing or is it updating your current drawing to the data
shortcuts or is that to synch a drawing. If it is o.k. to turn off the
validation then I say do it because it seems to be a waste of time if I have
to wait 15-30 seconds for each drawing I open it validate.
