Data Shortcut Working Folder [Location]

Before our company starts using Data Shortcuts I would like to know what is generally recommended as far as locating a Data Shortcut Working Folder on our Server.

Should we have a Data Shortcut Working Folder inside each company job folder, or have one master Data Shortcut Folder that includes ALL company jobs ?

My feeling is that It would be more organized if you have only one Data Shortcut Working Folder on the server that contains all the shortcuts for the companies various jobs. Is this true?

                                                                   Thank You
