Data Reference Issue with pipe network

We have data referenced out some pipe networks and when someone was using it, the pipes come in as a single line. 

I noticed when you look at the information of the pipe, the pipes have no diameter when you look at the listing in the box below the prospector.  And you can't change it, where as In the file where the pipe network was referenced out it show the pipe diameters.  It is really weird that the pipe dimensions disappear in the data reference. 

Any help on this one.

If some of those suggestions don't work, you may have a corrupted installation?

none of the pipes when listed from the data refrence have a shape or size.  pipes are in but no size

Opened a new drawing and no parts are associated with the networks.
