DWG to PDF with layers

Hi,

Running C3D 2012.  I have a page set up of DWG to PDF.  I have went into the properties of the DWG to PDF.pc3 and told it NOT to include layers.  If I publish just the one drawing, all works good, no layers.  If I add addition sheets, or even just one more, for a total of two drawings, I get layers in the PDF.  Even both times in the publish option, I have selected dont include layer infomation.

Any thoughts?

How are you publishing.  If you do a publish from the sheet set manager I belive the driver for that still will print layers.  In order to get it to not do that you have to print to the pc3 driver.

I create a page set up in my first drawing (or File).  click on Publish and add the remaining drawing to complete the set.  Highlight all sheets in the publish window and select the page set up from the first file.  And off it goes...

Publish has it's own options that may be over-ridding the .pc3.  Look for a Publish Options button in the upper right hand sided of the publish window; there is an option for layer information.

Did you click on the publish options and turn off the layer inculsion?  Publish Options->General DWF/PDF Options->Layer Information

I am aware of that also.  I changed the properties of my device under "custom properties" to not include layers and in the publish box to also not include layers.  I must have a corrupt file some where.  I did just delete my dwg to pdf.pc3 file and created a new one but no change in results.

You are looking in the wrong place.  This is not in your page setup or print dialog.  This one is in your publish dialog.  There is a button that you change the option to not include layers.

Type in help browser "Publish Options" and it should be the first hint.

I am aware of the layer information box in the publish options.  I have it NOT check and am still getting layers.  See attachment

Do you leave your page setup on "None" or do you switch it after?

When you switch does it change the publish options then?

As stated in my second post.  No. Publish layers never changes...  This has me good...

There is another location for the same setting under the Sheet Set Publish Options.

Are you using a sheet set? Even if you are not you may want to check this location for the same setting and ensure that layer information is set to don't include.

From the AutoCAD 2010-2012 forum: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/AutoCAD-2010-2011-2012/Problem-Publish-using-Page-Setup-Override/m-p/3...
