DWF Not Showing Civil Objects

When plotting to DWF my Civil Objects don't plot. Any ideas?

DWF is, in a nutshell, Autodesk's version of a PDF, more or less. DWF data is independent of the original C3D design data. That being said, when you/someone creates a DWF, the plot style can be modified to control what does and does not plot (ie if you sent a dwf to a client for review, you could block them from printing sensitive information).

Look into your plot settings, that's where I'd start.

I'm not sure quite what you mean here.

If your civil 3d lineart is not plotting then it must be a layer or style setting? Try looking at the layers for no plot settings.

If you mean that the civil3d object data is not exporting attached to the entities. I don't believe that it will with a DWF(2d) file, Map object data will print after enabling and selecting what you want to print via the map interface -> export DWF.

If you want the civil3d object properties to print and embed then you need to produce a 3dDWFx file, the options alows the civil data to be exported or not.

Be aware not everything is exported, custom part contexts are not included.

The strange thing is, If we plot to .PDF; it's fine. If we plot to .DWF; it
doesn't show civil objects.

Are you using ExportDWF command or printing via DWF6 ePlot etc.

I can't find any settings which will prevent the objects from printing in pdf but not dwf.

Usual suspects, audit drawing etc?

Test DWFx file output as well as 3dDWFx file output.

If all else fails repair or reinstall.

Sorry that's the best I have.
